Baby Quilt
In less than one month, there will be a new addition to my husband's family. My niece Ximena Sarahi will be born. I have created a beautiful quilt for her to snuggle up with for many years to come. I decided not to go with the traditional pastel baby colors, as I was wanting to create something she would want to use for a long time. My inspiration was the apple border print which happened to match perfectly with the 31 Gifts, Apple Blossom print. I figured this would make the perfect gift for my niece. I began collecting fat quarters in many bright coordinating prints. I love the fun bright design and it was such an easy pattern by Thimble Blossoms. I machine pieced and machine quilted this design. After completing the piecing, I wanted to keep this creation for myself since I loved it so much! I hope Ximena loves it as much as I do!
My New Blog
So, I'm new to this blogging thing but decided to create a place where I can share my sewing creations that I have been working on. Enjoy!
